"What's Your New Year's Spiritual Resolution?" from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speaker: Nelson Mira
Sunday Service 12/27/2015 @ Seattle Family Church
Rev. Sun Myung Moon, Cheon Seong Gyeong, pg. 851
You need devotional conditions and prayer. Is your position that of a resurrected person? If you are not standing in that position, are you at least ardently seeking it? Are you confident about taking responsibility for the environment in your path of faith? We have not yet accomplished this. This is why prayer is necessary. Prayer has the power to move the goalposts of life and death.

"Gifts" from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speaker: Rev. Larry Krishnek
Sunday Service 12/20/2015 @ Seattle Family Church

Quotes: Rev. Sun Myung Moon, Cham Bumo Gyeong, Book 6, Chapter 1, 20
In establishing a holy ground, I selected land where I could pray. When we were being hounded and chased out, we had no place to communicate freely with God. The fact that we now have holy grounds where we can cry out to God is historic and signifies that we have established a base for the worldwide and historic victory.
In order to extend this standard, I created 120 holy grounds in 40 countries during my world tour in 1965. Even though it meant using precious finances, I established holy grounds and brought the earth and rocks back to Korea, because God's providence must be done in this way. This kind of work never existed before in history. The reason I am doing it is to move along with the flow of heavenly and earthly fortune and to align with God's providential program.
The 120 holy grounds in 40 countries are the places where the people chosen by God can be protected. If earthly people cannot protect us, those in the spirit world will protect us when we are at the holy grounds. Creating the holy grounds establishes bases where God can be with us and from where we can lead the fight victoriously for the movement of the redemption of the people.

"Shortcuts to Perfection" from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speaker: John DeGoede
Sunday Service 12/12/2015 @ Seattle Family Church

Quotes:
Matthew 5:48 - "Be you therefore perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect."
John 14:12 - “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father."

12/6/2015 "Perfect Gifts for Christmas" from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speaker: Nelson Mira
Sunday Service 12/6/2015 @ Seattle Family Church

Quotes:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16 NIV

"What is the true meaning of Christmas and why do we celebrate? It is not done for America's sake or for the sake of the world. We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The central issue of this day is what kind of Christmas Jesus would have wanted." - Rev. Sun Myung Moon, The True Meaning of Christmas, 12/25/1979, World Mission Center.

"Golden Big Picture Sunday" from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speakers: Walter and Annerose Lowe
Sunday Service 11.29.2015 @ Seattle Family Church

Quotes:

And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:28)

And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. 2 The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every bird of the air, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea; into your hand they are delivered. 3 Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. (Genesis 9: 1-3)

6 I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come forth from you. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you. 8 And I will give to you, and to your descendants after you, the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God…. 20 As for Ish′mael, I have heard you; behold, I will bless him and make him fruitful and multiply him exceedingly; he shall be the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. 21 But I will establish my covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this season next year.” (Genesis 17: 6-8, 20-21)

You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Matthew 5:48)

11/22/2015 "God's Hope for America" from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speaker: Dr. David Burgess
Sunday Service 11/22/2015 @ Seattle Family Church

Quote:

The Puritans felt a strong desire to create a community of their own. America seemed an ideal place, so they made the courageous decision to venture there... There only hope was in God. Every step they took depended on God. The journey was long and there were many storms. They prayed unceasingly to God. They had but one way to turn. They turned to God. When they were sick and dying on the voyage, they had no medicine to take, no doctor to care for them; they turned to God. Those Pilgrim men and women were one with God. And that is how they survived. Put yourself in their position of total reliance on God. What a wonderful faith! I am sure that the faith of the Pilgrim Fathers touched the heart of God. And when God is moved, He offers promises; and when He makes promises He will fulfill them. God determined to give these faithful people what they wanted - freedom of worship. He then determined to give them even more... The story of the American Pilgrim Fathers is one of a kind in God's history. It fits into the pattern of the righteous people of history, such as Abraham, Isaac and Moses. These Pilgrims were the Abrahams of modern history.
- Rev. Sun Myung Moon, God's Hope for America

11/15/2015 "Accessing The Power Of... by Risking It All" from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speaker: Dr. Sandra Lowen, PhD, LCSW
Sunday Service 11/15/2015 @ Seattle Family Church

Quotes:
1 Corinthians 13New King James Version (NKJV)
"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing.
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

"I could fall in love with a sumo wrestler, if he told stories and made me laugh. Obviously it would be easier if he was African American and lived next door and went to the same church, because then I wouldn't have to translate...In the flush of love's light we dare to be embraced, and suddenly we see that love costs all we are and will ever be. Yet t is only love that will set us free." - Maya Angelou-

Love is friendship that has caught fire; it is quietly understanding and mutually comforting sharing. It is loyalty through the good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses."
- Ann Landers -

Marriage opens the door to human happiness. Studying in order to open the door to happiness is very good. However, if that study is for the purpose of becoming rich or powerful, it is a mistake. Study must be for the purpose of attaining true love.
- Rev. Sun Myung Moon; Blessing and Ideal Family; Chapter 1, part 3

11/8/2015 "Siblings: A Step Closer to God" from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speaker: Hyunggil Woo
Sunday Service 11.8.2015 @ Seattle Family Church
Quote: Cheon Seong Gyeong; pg. 548 (113-117, 1981.05.01)
Centering on parental love, the tradition and order of love for the person in the position of the elder brother is to sacrifice himself for and love his younger siblings, as his parents’ representative. The eldest brother’s position comes with the responsibility to suffer more than any of his siblings, for the sake of his parents and siblings. That is the eldest brother's situation. The parents suffer for the sake of their children more than the children do. They do so because of their love. The parents will not give up, even when they are drenched in tears. They will continue along that path of tears.

10/25/2015 The Power of a Few Good Words from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speaker: Michael Faris
Sunday Service 10/25/2015 @ Seattle Family Church

Quotes:
* Everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded upon the rock. - Matt: 7: 24-25
* During the period when the providence of restoration is to be completed after the Second Coming of Christ, people are to be fully resurrected to the divine-spirit level based on the Completed Testament Word and the merit of the age in the providence of restoration. - DP Restoration 2.2.2 (iv)

Kingdom Builders from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speaker: Nelson Mira
Sunday Service 11/1/2015 @ Seattle Family Church
Quotes: Cheon Seong Gyeong (115-039,1981 1028)
God's kingdom starts from a heavenly family. That family starts from one man and one woman who are aligned with God's Will. In the end, they become the center of not only a family, but also a country, and the entire universe. Therefore, it isn't the country that needs to be perfected first, nor is it the family. It is one man and one woman. This idea of one perfected man and one perfected woman connects to all of you here today. The idea of perfecting one man and one woman remains the same in the past, present, and future. It is unchanging.

10/18/2015 What Are We? from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speaker: David Roberts
Sunday Service 10/18/2015 @ Seattle Family Church

Quotes:
When I see your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and stars that you set in place - What is man that you are mindful of him, and a son of man that you care for him?
Psalm 8:4-5

10/11/2015 Gratitude vs. Pride: The Higher Emotion from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speaker: Augustine Maddox
Sunday Service 10/11/2015 @ Seattle Family Church

Quotes:
* James 1:17 - "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change."
* Cheon Seong Gyeong, Book 5, Chapter 4, 4.4. - "Thus, you decide whether you go to heaven or hell. Rev. Moon doesn’t decide, God doesn’t decide, you yourselves decide. The decision is yours. If you complain, that is hell. If you go with gratitude even when you have something to complain about, that is heaven." (96-122, 1978.1.2)

5/31/2015 "3Ps: Power of Personal Prayer" from Seattle Family Church on Vimeo.

Speaker: Alena Avramenko
Sunday Service 5/31/2015 @ Seattle Family Church
Quotes:
* If God exists, what kind of relationship does He have with human beings? To have a relationship with human beings, He must be a personal God. And to be a personal God, He must resemble human beings.
(Cheon Seong Gyeong Ch 1, Sec 3.1)
* It is the special privilege of a child of God to say, "God is mine. All that is God's is also mine. Even God's love, life and ideals are mine." It is up to human beings to recover this amazing and incredible value that was originally ours. (Pyeong Hwa Gyeong, p 505)
* Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
(Mark 11:23)
