Welcoming True Parents Back to America
A letter from Dr. Michael Balcomb and Dr. Ki Hoon Kim

Dear Family,
After all the tumult and tension of the Presidential Election, it’s time to take a deep breath and give thanks to God and pray for His continued mercy and protection for our country, despite our many shortcomings. Let’s recall True Parent’s guidance and God’s unchanging expectation that the USA will become the true “Elder Son” nation that leads the peoples of the world back to our Heavenly Parent.
It is surely significant that at this very time we are preparing for True Mother’s return to the United States and the important peace projects that she is initiating at this time. In Washington DC, True Mother will host the UPF International Leadership Conference, featuring a special session of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace on Capitol Hill. There will also be a spectacular benefit performance by the Little Angels at the National Theater on November 29, in support of the Children’s Hospitals of Washington DC.
Here in New York, we will host the 2016 ACLC True Family Values Awards Luncheon in Brooklyn on December 3, followed by a Christmas gathering for all brothers and sisters with True Mother at the Manhattan Center, also featuring the Little Angels.
We want to invite all families to support True Mother and all these initiatives in the following ways--
1) Please offer your financial support with a special donation from your family. Giving in this way is our church tradition and our pride, and is, as Divine Principle explains, an important condition that allows God to bring his Blessings. We would like to humbly suggest a gift of $210 or $300 per family, and $120 from an individual. Of course, donations of any size (smaller and larger) are very welcome. You can donate through this link here that is also on our website, or bring your offering to church on Sunday.
2) Continue to pray and fast for the success of these events and for the broader goals of national and international healing. We need to let people all over the world know that the time has come when we can build the long awaited Kingdom of God, centered on True Parents.
3) Come to New York! We’d like to invite everyone to come join us at the Manhattan Center on Saturday, December 3, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. (Doors at 2 p.m.), as we welcome True Mother and share God’s love together. Space is bound to be limited, so please stay in contact with your pastor and stay tuned for more details to register your participation.
